Welcome to NCGL Franny!
Franny is a beautiful 2.5 year old greyhound cross who was found at a dump in Northern Manitoba. She gave birth to her beautiful 9 pups on August 8th, 2020 in a wooded area in an effort to keep them safe. One day her and her pups were dropped off at the dump like garbage. Franny being the incredible mom she is, stayed with her pups, despite the fact that they have burn areas and regularly bulldoze over things. She was getting weaker and weaker, she was so skinny from trying to keep her babies alive and her nose had been burned.
When she and her pups were found and rescued by an amazing woman, she was separated from them as per her vet’s orders, they were old enough to survive on their own and she was so skeletal and needed time to heal and recover.
Franny spent time with an amazing lady as she recovered and learned how awesome life could be with someone taking care of her instead! She found a loving family but after a year of having Franny in their home they felt that she would do better with a family that was more sighthound savvy than they were – that’s where we came in!
Franny is an absolute doll – she loves her people and adores children! She’s playful, happy and wants to please! Franny can be a bit picky about who her dog friends are but when she clicks with them, all she wants to do is hang out, play bow and party all day! We will take some time to get to know this sweet lady and keep you all updated as to her progress.
Welcome to NCGL beautiful Franny-cakes, and a huge thank you goes out to you amazing angels who made this happen ❤
